With a career spanning over 30 years…

I have worked as a writer, director, and performer. My work has been seen on Broadway, Off-Broadway, nationally, and internationally.

My approach to all things creative has always been very collaborative. I believe in the magic that happens when talented, open people get into the room and influence each other. In my experience, the results of this kind of collaboration, has always resulted in something that is greater than the sum of its parts. Whether I’m writing or directing, I strive to create a safe, collaborative environment that allows everyone involved to take risks and discover their best work. After working together, I have had a playwright say to me, “You are the only person I would trust with my play”. And an actress I recently directed wrote to me afterward, “You are compassionate, smart, and collaborative... and I would follow you anywhere!!"

Growing up in New Jersey to family of hams, family is usually infused in all my creative endeavors. Whether it’s writing or directing, whether it’s a play, a musical, burlesque, concert, or a Hallmark movie, I always try to find that connection that makes us all a family.

Although acting has not been my mail focus for a few years now, I’m proud to have appeared in a range of shows including A View from the Bridge, I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change, Saturday Night Fever, and Jesus Christ Superstar. In fact, I have performed in every state except Alaska and South Dakota.
